(Kaohsiung, Taiwan) August 17, 2024 – Demonstrating its enduring commitment to corporate social responsibility, FCF Co., Ltd. (FCF) activated its Volunteer Team to participate in the annual community family event hosted by Taiwan His Hands Christian Home. Reflecting FCF’s dedication to making a tangible social impact, the team took charge of a booth at the charity second-hand market, where all proceeds were donated to Taiwan His Hands Christian Home to support underprivileged families. Additionally, FCF volunteers played a crucial role in the event’s setup and guest coordination, further highlighting the company’s volunteer spirit of “Spreading Love, Changing Lives.”
During the event, FCF deployed more than ten volunteers who were essential to the preparation and execution of the activities. The Volunteer Team organized a second-hand market booth, supported by a company-wide initiative encouraging employees to donate nearly new items. These goods were sold at the event, with all proceeds directed to Taiwan His Hands Christian Home to aid disadvantaged families, thereby delivering practical support to those in need.
Marian Chiang, FCF’s Senior Vice President and Executive Assistant to the President, was invited to speak at the event’s opening ceremony. She emphasized FCF’s long-standing commitment to corporate social responsibility, stating, “The FCF Volunteer Team embodies our company’s core values of sustainability and social contribution. Through concrete actions, we aim to support the communities we serve by offering resources and heartfelt care to those who need it most. Our employees consistently show enthusiasm for volunteer opportunities, and today’s event is a testament to our collective effort to foster positive change and spread goodwill.”
Chiang further called on society to maintain its focus on the needs of orphaned children aged 0-6, pledging FCF’s continued support for the growth and well-being of this vulnerable group. She extended an open invitation to charitable organizations and disadvantaged groups to connect with FCF for volunteer support, adding, “We are eager to provide assistance and are committed to ensuring that more individuals can thrive in environments filled with love and care.”
Annie Chou, Chairperson of Taiwan His Hands Christian Home, expressed her gratitude for FCF’s unwavering support, highlighting the importance of partnerships between businesses and the community. She remarked, “FCF’s ongoing support has significantly enhanced our ability to care for orphaned children and has brought renewed hope to the lives of underprivileged families. We are deeply thankful for FCF’s selfless dedication.”
In addition to the charity second-hand market, the event featured guided tours of Taiwan His Hands Christian Home, parent-child DIY activities, and lively musical performances, providing participants with a meaningful and enriching weekend. Every member of the FCF Volunteer Team conveyed love and care through their actions, injecting warmth and positive energy into the community. FCF remains committed to continuing its public welfare activities, fulfilling its corporate social responsibility, and working hand in hand with the community to create a better future.
