

(Kaohsiung, Taiwan) December 10, 2022 – FCF Co., Ltd. (FCF) is pleased to announce that its Bali-based subsidiary, Anova Technical Services, LLC (Anova), has won the 2022 U.S. Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE) in responsible business operations.
The ACE award is one of the U.S. Department of State’s highest honors and recognizes U.S. companies exemplifying American values and demonstrating leadership in international business. Each year, U.S. ambassadors all over the world nominate companies for this extraordinary award. This year, the ACE focused on three categories: responsible business operations, climate resilience, and inclusive economic growth. The prestigious award, presented by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, honors Anova’s commitment to seafood traceability and improving working conditions across its entire supply chain. The Director of Anova, Blane Olson, accepted the award on behalf of the company during a ceremony on December 9, 2022.
Since Anova was founded in 2012, it has committed to offering traceable seafood through its secure traceability system, ensuring transparency from ocean to plate. It is also the first business to attain the Fair-Trade USA certification for seafood, ensuring that through inclusion of fishermen and supply chain workers, they are afforded fair and equitable wages and safe working conditions. Anova has returned over US $1.5 million in Fair Trade market premiums to fishing communities for social and humanitarian projects. Anova focuses on Gender Equality with women comprising of 80% of its senior management and, operates as a legally and ethically compliant company. Additionally, Anova has organized a series of community-based projects in Bali, such as installing water filtration systems in orphanages and public schools across the island and distributing motorbike helmets to kids.
