FCF Co., Ltd. Completes First GHG Protocol-Based Greenhouse Gas Inventory with Third-Party Verification, Marking a Milestone Toward Net-Zero

(Kaohsiung, Taiwan) March 31st, 2025 – FCF Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “FCF”) officially announced the completion of its first corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory report in accordance with the internationally recognized GHG Protocol. The report has been independently verified by Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, representing a significant and symbolic milestone in FCF’s journey toward net-zero transformation.

In response to global climate change and sustainability trends, FCF proactively launched its internal GHG inventory initiative in 2023 to account for carbon emissions generated through its business operations and to implement autonomous carbon management. The completed inventory not only aligns with international standards, but also serves as a critical foundation for FCF’s climate risk management and international competitiveness—especially in anticipation of emerging climate regulations and mechanisms such as the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

The findings of this inventory allow FCF to systematically understand its current emissions profile, and form the basis for launching concrete carbon reduction actions, setting phased targets, and developing low-carbon transition strategies. Selected data and progress updates will be disclosed in FCF’s upcoming sustainability report.

Environmental responsibility has long been embedded in FCF’s corporate governance strategy. Moving forward, the company will continue to enhance its GHG accounting systems and carbon management capacity, with a focus on transparency, action, and collaboration. Through these efforts, FCF aims to work alongside supply chain partners to build sustainable competitive advantages, and to be a pioneer in the distant-water fishing and seafood sectors, contributing meaningfully to marine conservation and global sustainability goals.
